> About the Jam <

Games for a Cause is a special game jam where I invite you to create a game with heart. For those new to the concept, a game jam is an event where developers and creatives come together to make a game within a set amount of time. It's a great opportunity to sharpen your skills, meet other passionate people in the community and build something!

Over the course of two weeks, you'll create a short game that is beatable in about 10 minutes that explores 2 themes. The themes will be announced the day the Jam Begins.

> Prizes & Charity <

Winners and Prizes

At the end of the jam, all submissions will be reviewed by a panel of Official Judges and voted on by the community. We'll celebrate three main winners, plus a special fourth Secret Winner! The top three winners will have a donation made in their name to a charity of their choice:

1st Place: $100

2nd Place: $50

3rd Place: $25

To help make a small difference, the prize donations are personally provided by myself as Capybloom is a one person show. My goal is simply to encourage creativity and support good causes through the power of games, although if you'd like to sponsor a future jam, please get in contact with me!
